Underrated armor sets/pets/weapons? (2024)

I am planning on making a post about doing something with underrated items, anyone have any recommendations?

Specifically talking about thinks no one really uses (maybe they think they are bad), but are secretly pretty good or serve a niche use. Think of stuff like monster raider or Giant Cleaver

Necromancer lord is cheaper than Necron and Goldor though.

Plus, before your first F7 completion you don't have many other good options for eHP sets anyways. Aside from T12/T13 perfect and maybe (super) heavy armor

In fact, at one point the difference in eHP between necromancer lord and Goldor wasn't that far off.

Tank is very usefull in F7 (for lower cata ~30-35) if they know what to do, espetially in the Goldor and Strorm phase - they agro them and lure them where they need to be, while making everyone survive easier.

Or you can just, agro with mage? It's not particularly difficult to survive f7 at Cata 24, let alone Cata 30

I keep telling people this, and somehow people continue to amaze me by dying on this floor at cata 24-26.

Having a tank is pretty much "insurance" when it comes to Normal Dungeon floors.

Just because tank may not be the greatest class to play in Normal Dungeons doesn't mean necromancer lord armor isn't underrated. You can even get away with using it in MM too assuming you have the cata level to back it up.

Spirit boots
Like maxor boots but slightly more speed and for mage (because extra intelligence)

Only bad part is that if you press shift you go flying everywhere like a drunk Scottish man for two seconds

Ender bow is goated tech. you save so much money from not buying ender pearls

Silent death is like probably a pretty good shadow fury alternative
